The KA Program Behind These Outcomes
At Kikokushijo Academy, teaching materials and instructional methods are continuously refined to align with the evolving demands of returnee and English-based entrance exams. At the same time, the Academy places strong emphasis not only on skills directly tied to examinations, but also on cultivating the ability to think and express ideas in English, skills that continue to serve students after admission.
Curriculum Specialized for Returnee and English-Based Entrance Exams
In addition to developing the four English skills, the curriculum places particular emphasis on the thinking and expressive abilities required for interviews and essay writing. Instruction is systematically structured by working backward from grade-level goals.
Accumulation and Analysis of School-Specific Data
Question trends and evaluation criteria are analyzed on a school-by-school basis, allowing tailored preparation for each student. Instruction is adjusted to reflect differences among schools and exam formats, ensuring targeted preparation for each applicant’s chosen schools.A system that supports English learning outside the classroom
To reinforce classroom learning, KA provides preparatory and review assignments and materials through its proprietary online learning system. This approach encourages continued exposure to English at home and supports steady skill development outside of class.
A Warm, Supportive Community That Encourages Learning
By drawing on an environment where many returnee and bilingual students learn together, Kikokushijo Academy places strong emphasis on building a community where students can continue learning with confidence. English is used throughout the campus at all times, both during lessons and breaks, creating a fully immersive, 100 percent English environment. Through daily interactions with peers, students have continual opportunities to think and express themselves in English.

“The homework was demanding, but our child looked forward to attending each week and stayed motivated through the end.”
Student voices
“The classes were exciting and engaging, but also challenging. Thanks to the constant encouragement and support from the teachers, I was able to persevere until the end.”
“My ability to organize my thoughts and write essays improved significantly. Receiving constructive feedback each time helped me build confidence with every assignment.”
Founder’s Message
“Over the past decade, our results demonstrate consistent success in the highly competitive arena of returnee and English-based entrance examinations at top-tier schools. These outcomes reflect both the sustained effort of students working toward their goals and the thoughtful instruction that supported their development.
Kikokushijo Academy is committed to cultivating not only strong English proficiency, but also the ability to organize ideas and express them clearly in one’s own words, skills that prepare students for learning beyond the entrance examination.”
